The Map in a Million

Chapter One

No… No, no, no, no! How have I lost again? My plan was set up perfectly, it was completely flawless!

Here I stood, in the old, yellowed grass, staring at the small, leftover flames from my fire. I could’ve burnt down that college if my sole enemy hadn’t gotten in the way and messed it all up.

It was a small flame on the stove that was bound to burn up the entire school at least. I had laid perfume to coat the air, there was so much of it I was sure it couldn’t have gone wrong. But of course, Atlas could find a way to ruin my plan.

They are both blonde, short, and rather—no, extremely dumb. But, I guess it isn’t really that bad since they are only seven.

We turn for the woods when Atlas lands right in front of us. I gasp. “Hey! Watch where you freaking… fly.” I’m exhausted and mad and really don’t want to be lectured right now. I glare at his tall frame.
